I stumbled on a treasure trove of old maps and atlases in an Amnesty charity shop the other day. Ranging from 50-100+ years old and 50p each! Great find. The above is a scan from an Atlas of old Biblical lands.

Lino print I did of a wolf’s head, part of another project (more info to come). It was my first stab at linocut, really enjoyed the process.

So I did an e-book cover recently! Pleased with it and nice to see something I designed up on amazon. It’s also a great novel, so check it out. Oh and the first half is up for free on smashwords.

Screencapped this while hunting for film graphics for my other blog. I don’t think I will feature it because the magazine was a real publication so it might not be an original prop - but the image was too good not to post up somewhere. It’s from Band of Brothers, first episode.
Been doing a bit of photomanipulation concept arty stuff. Think I’m done with this one!

BAFTA 2012
Highlight: Tyrannosaur’s win. Really happy this got a nod - amazing film, and exactly the kind of film that wouldn’t get made under Cameron’s new plans for the British film industry. Thanks to this win Paddy Considine might actually get to make another film.
Lowlight: Shame being completely snubbed. For me probably the best film of the award calendar year - and virtually ignored by this years BAFTA awards. The fact that it wasn’t even nominated for Best Director or Original Screenplay was tragic.
